Newsflash!!! Leah Haydock Photography now offers a Wedding Photobooth in Boston, MA, NH and ME

Photobooths -they've been on my mind for a while. I've done them in the past with a sort of home-spun rig of tripods/lightstands etc but they always seemed a little messy. So I did a bunch of research and settled on a rather nifty system that just arrived last week. It's an open frame photobooth - you can jump in with 6 or 8 or 10 of your closest friends - press the button, watch it countdown for 5 seconds and then "FLASH!" your picture is taken. I have a selection of chalk boards (for your friends to write messages) or props such as crazy glasses, superhero masks, the ubiquitous mustaches and much more.

After a couple of trial runs at family BBQs I used it for the first time this weekend at Amanda & Joe's wedding at the Four Seasons and I'm going to share just a few favorites here. There's no printing on site (I don't think you want your guests waiting for pictures to print when they should be on the dancefloor) and the pictures are ready to see just days after your wedding (there's not the usual processing/editing as the conditions are exactly the same for each picture).

If you're thinking you'd like to add this to your wedding, email me asap at for pricing information (you also need to check with your venue that there is an appropriate space approx 9 feet x 9 feet) . If you were at Amanda & Joe's wedding you can see the full gallery of images **here**, the password is the groom's last name (check your invitation if you forget!!!)

The newlyweds!

Mustaches and giant glasses compliment every outfit:

Woooooooow - we're having sooooo much fun!

You don't always have to use props:

Good times:

Some people jump for joy! Have you been at the cherry wine Sue?

I'm photographing Caitlin and Peter's wedding in just a few weeks!

And I photographed Lunda & Jonathan's wedding last year:

Photobooths can be used by people of all ages:

Here's Amanda and 6 friends, I've had up to 12 in the booth:

Pretty funny and a great way to get even more candid pictures of your guests at your wedding.
