Glen Magna Farms Wedding Photographer :: Danvers, MA :: Helen + Matt (Part IV)

It's a hot and sunny Friday afternoon. You don't really want to do anymore work do you? Nah - go and get an iced coffee or a cold beer and then come back and read all about Helen & Matt's wedding at Glen Magna Farms in Danvers, MA. You know you want to....

And now we're back at Glen Magna Farms for the wedding reception. LOVE this venue - beautiful mansion, stunning grounds, Heather and her team were fabulous to work with, the tent is gorgeous, I could photograph here every weekend and be a happy wedding photographer! Glen Magna Farms Wedding So so so so so much thought and effort had gone into this wedding. Helen and Matt chose a lovebird theme which was everywhere from the little drink tags to the wedding cake. A special shout out to Betsy and her crew at the Flower Kiosk, I was literally blown away by the flowers and I know Helen & Matt loved working with her.

Vinwood catered the wedding and the food was beautifully presented and super yummy wedding cocktail hour appetizers Northshore Wedding Venue with Tent

As you can imagine, I go to a LOT of weddings. I've noticed that the weddings where the couple really think about the comfort and enjoyment of their guests are the very best ones. Helen and Matt went above and beyond to make this the most fabulous party ever - from lawn games, to signature drinks, to awesome music from a live band to the most amazing dinner options and even late night ice cream sundaes and mini slider burgers and I think their guests had a wonderful time!

Matt surprised Helen by getting these corn toss bags custom made on Etsy with their monogram and wedding date :)

I love this one, I feel like it could be an image from 100 years ago...

The newlyweds entered the tent to do their choreographed first dance:

Toasts were so good! Matt's best man and brother Scott spoke about how it's a miracle that Matt is even alive with 3 brothers and how happy he is for Helen and Matt. Helen's matron of honor and best friend Emery spoke beautifully about entrusting Helen's heart to Matt (you can hear a little clip in the video at the bottom of this post). It was lovely to see how happy everyone was for Helen and Matt!

Lovebird themed wedding cake!

I don't know about you but nothing makes me happier at a wedding than some BBQ. Not to mention the lobster, pasta, freshly carved meats, potato mashtinis and so much more..

I love it when couples choose a band for their wedding, there's almost always dancing between courses :) The Pulse of Boston rocked it!

Helen had a little surprise for Matt - a rendition of "The Way I Am" by Ingrid Michaelson

And with that the dancefloor was well and truly opened:

You know me :) Any chance to sneak outside for 5 minutes of nighttime pictures!

Back inside for cupcakes! ice cream sundae bar! late night snacks!

And of course, more dancing. At your wedding everything goes by so quickly and you can be pulled in a million different directions. I loved how Helen and Matt literally didn't separate all night. Whether it was talking to friends and family, dancing, playing some late night corn toss, they were together...

Helen and Matt - what can I say?!? You had the most beautiful wedding but more than that, you have the most beautiful relationship. It was an honor to document your happiness on your wedding day. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter and joy! One last picture:
