Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel Wedding :: South Boston, MA :: Renee + Kevin (Part IV)

It's finally here! The finale of Renee & Kevin's wedding photographs at the Renaissance Hotel on the Waterfront in Boston, MA. The Renaissance wedding team were awesome to work with :)


Kristin of Local Color Flowers (Kristin@LocalColorFlowers.com) worked her magic and came up with these BEAUTIFUL vases filled with submerged flowers:


The newlyweds were announced to cheers and claps and high-fives :)

The Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel is an amazing wedding venue - and it's somewhat of a photography dream as there are all sorts of interesting lights and structures and locations:


I'm never happier than when I hear the magic words "We'd love to go outside for some wedding pictures at night"


And then it was time to really get the party started. Renee took off her long skirt to reveal this short bubble dress. (The three part dress was from Allegria Bridal, Renee reports that she loved the experience of shopping there).


I rate DJs on the following criteria

a)if they shine ugly red or green spotlights on the dancefloor (can ruin your pictures)

b)giving me a 2 minute heads up for events such as parent dances or cake cutting

c)playing awesome music and keeping the dancefloor full

From our initial meeting when Renee tried to do her best p-p-p-poker face ;) to the early morning beers to get Kevin ready for the engagement shoot to your most fabulous wedding. It has been brilliant getting to know you both and I wish you SO much happiness together. You're just perfect for each other ;)
