Engagement Pictures inside Fenway Park :: Boston, MA Photographer :: Courtney + Stu

Can you take engagement pictures inside Fenway Park? Of course you can! You have to get in touch with the Fenway Events team and schedule a time and pay the required fee and then you just need to find a photographer ;) It's been a while since I photographed engagement pictures inside Fenway so I was super excited to meet up with Courtney and Stu on Monday.

We started with a frosty beverage at Jillians which was spookily quiet during the day. And then we strolled over to Gate D to enter. Lisa Sammons (Courtney & Stu's fab wedding planner) was there to get us in and hand us over to the awesome Julio Jeune, our "Fenway Ambassador" for the hour.

See those teeny tiny people above the numbers 1 and 8, that's Courtney and Stu. Does anyone remember the show "Sox Appeal"? I miss that. fenway park engagement pictures

It's kind of spooky/cool getting to walk around Fenway when it's completely empty. We stopped by the Green Monster (or Monstah!) fenway park engagement photo

Fun fact: The lone red seat in the right field bleachers (Section 42, Row 37, Seat 21) signifies the longest home run ever hit at Fenway. The Ted Williams hit on June 9, 1946, was officially measured at 502 feet (153 m)

You might be wondering why Courtney and Stu chose the home of the Red Sox for their engagement photographs. Obviously they're huge Boston sports fan - the Red Sox, the Bruins, the Celtics and the Patriots. They met at school and their friendship was initially formed as they talked about sports.

And then Stu asked Courtney if she'd like to go to a Red Sox game with him. And not just any game. Oh no, game 2 of the WORLD SERIES back in 2007. That's setting the bar pretty high for a first date :) And these were the actual seats they sat in...

Not only did we take some pictures at the dugout:

Courtney and Stu even got to hang out in the dugout for a while. These two laugh a lot, it was an absolute pleasure to photograph them:

After our hour was up (again, a huge shout out to Julio, he even took us on a little detour on the way out to show Courtney and Stu where "The Town" was filmed), we headed over to Beacon Hill for a little stroll.

Stu had great plans to bring Courtney into Boston to propose but he was really sick and had to cancel the plans. Instead he came up with a mastermind plan involving the Christmas tree ornaments and a hidden engagement ring :)

Courtney and Stu - thank you for an awesome afternoon in Fenway Park, Beacon Hill and the Public Gardens. Congratulations and I hope you like these previews. Your full gallery is uploading as I type...

If you liked these pictures and you'd like to see more of Courtney and Stu you can head over to my official facebook page to see a few more sneaky peeks (remember to hit "like" on the page).
