Alicia & Bill's December wedding day started out kind of cold and rainy:
Alicia and Bill got ready at Renaissance and inside it was warm and toasty and perfectly decorated for the holidays:

Alicia and the girls were getting ready in the beautiful bridal suite (complete with four poster bed!). The amazing Lena of www.HairThatMoves.com was doing hair and the talented Ligia of www.MakeOversbyLigia.com was doing make up:
Meanwhile, down in the locker room, my fab photography BFF Kate McElwee was along with me and she started her day with Bill and the guys. There was a little befuddlement with ties and pocket handkerchiefs:
As you can see above, Bill was just a tiny bit delighted with his gift of....wait for it...a cruise!!! And Alicia was just as overcome with her gift and heartfelt letter from Bill:
As Alicia was laced into her stunning wedding dress, Cara and Meredith showed me the finer points of the napkin dance :)
Alicia and Bill chose not to see one another before their ceremony but with a 5:30pm start time in December we tried to use a little of the light to do some separate pictures before it went dark. Kate took these of Bill and his parents and the groomsmen:
Once Bill had safely left for church I had about 15 minutes of useable daylight for pictures of Alicia with her family and the girls, it's at times like this I love the ISO 12,800 capability of my camera:
Alicia is all kind of awesome, I remember our first meeting over drinks...which turned into appetizers....which turned into dinner and 3 hours later I drove home really hoping I'd get to photograph her wedding to Bill:
It was a perfectly cold, crisp, December evening for the wedding ceremony at All Saints Parish in Haverhill, MA
Loved this little notice that Alicia and Bill had stating their wish for an unplugged wedding, I also wrote about the topic of Unplugged Weddings here:
As Bill waited patiently in the wings at the front of the church:

And with that, it was time for Alicia and Bill to get married:
I think I might make a little flip book of Bill's reaction as Alicia walked towards him, his face just got smiley-er and smiley-er:
Bill couldn't wait until the end of the ceremony so thought he'd sneak in a little kiss at the beginning:
