Haley attempted her first bow tie tying for her father. I have been at a number of weddings with bow tie issues recently, I think I might put learning to tie one on my to-do list.
Haley and Josh decided to do a first look so they could thoroughly enjoy their party after the ceremony vs. spending cocktail hour taking pictures. Haley was nervous making her way to Josh. Loving Josh's expression seeing Haley for the first time. It was so sweet to see how happy Haley and Josh were to see each other and how tightly Josh held Haley:

Super stylish wedding party
If you're having an outdoor wedding ceremony (think possible wind/sun/humidity), doing a first look and taking all of the formal family pictures first means that hair and make up will still be perfect. Smart move :) I like to take relaxed and happy yet totally mantel-worthy family pictures:

With a final kiss for her father Haley and Josh were married. The personal vows were heartfelt with sincere promises and funny with references to late night ice cream runs. You can't help but smile when you see the way these two look at each other and laugh with each other. A big thanks to the awesome Sarah who shot alongside me for the day:
Guests were treated to the most amazing food by The Catered Affair - one of my favorite catering companies. Hello adorable little pink striped cones of crispy fried clams!
Haley and Josh snuck in a little "Yay! We did it!" hug before going out to join their friends and family in champagne, oysters and good conversation
The biggest shout out ever goes to Wendy Joblon Events who masterminded and executed this spectacular event. This was the first time I've worked with Wendy and her team and I was blown away. The design, the organization, the calmness, the attention to detail were all second to none. Most importantly Wendy was an absolute joy to work with. I was in love with the soft pink petal table linens that fluttered in the breeze:
The newlyweds entered the tent and went straight into their first dance:
You know how at some weddings the guests do that thing where they clink their glasses to get the couple to kiss? Haley and Josh didn't need any prompting :) They pretty much kissed their way through dinner and dancing :)

What was the surprise you ask? Oh, just a barge full of fireworks. Sarah got this great wide shot from the balcony:
After the fireworks guests came back to eat a little ice cream and get their party on. Unity Band from Murray Hill Agency were amazing.
I took a little walk outside to take a picture of the tent at night with the super moon. For the technical/camera geeks, I shot this at ISO 10000 f/2.8 and 1/30th of a second. You can call me steady hands :)
