Seaport District Boston Engagement Pictures :: Kristen + Jon

A couple of weeks ago on a toasty warm summer day I met up with Kristen and Jon in Boston for a mini engagement shoot (What's the difference between a mini engagement shoot and a full engagement shoot you ask? A full engagement shoot lasts longer and might incorporate two locations and maybe an outfit change. A mini shoot is perfect if you just need a few pictures for a save the date or for you to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding)

Three and a half years ago Kristen and Jon were at the same Halloween party. Jon was dressed as a soccer player. Kristen was a red M&M. The soccer player and the red M&M got chatting, the red M&M brought the soccer player a beer. A first date followed and now they're getting married!

This was the first time I'd met Kristen & Jon in person, Kristen and I just talked on the phone before they booked me as their wedding photographer. Kristen mentioned that they were a pretty laid back couple who enjoyed each other's company and usually ended up laughing together. I am happy to confirm this.

We wandered around the Seaport district (or is it officially the Innovation district now?) before ending up at the ICA

Kristen & Jon are planning a relaxed celebration with their closest friends and family at Tupper Manor later this year. Tupper Manor is one of my favorite North Shore wedding venues. A beautiful mansion, a private beach, an amazing wedding team - what more could you want?
