Fall Wedding Pictures at Wychmere Beach Club, Cape Cod :: Ariel + Quanyu

Hello! I can't wait to share this wedding with you today! Ariel and Quanyu (more usually known as Bow) had the most beautiful wedding at Wychmere Beach Club on the Cape. We started our day at Ocean Edge where Ariel and Bow were in their respective suites getting ready.

Let's start with some spectacular wedding jewelry:

Cartier wedding rings:

I will admit to having a little shoe envy...

Speaking of shoes, Ariel was relaxing in hair and make up in her cute little Charlotte Olympia slippers

It's never too early for coffee :)

Ariel had the super talented Dani Wagener for make up and Lindsay Griffin for hair magic.

Meanwhile Audrey was with Bow and the guys as they got ready:

Vivienne Westwood cufflinks:

It was time for Ariel to get into her first dress:

Ariel and Bow wanted to really enjoy as much time as possible with their friends and family at the wedding reception so they chose to see each other and do all of their formal pictures prior to the ceremony. Loving Bow's reaction to seeing Ariel:

We found a fabulous shaded area by the water on the Ocean Edge property and Ariel and Bow gamely agreed to make the little trek over there. I could have photographed these two all day - they're just perfect together!

That dress!!! Bride in Vera Wang Wedding Dress standing with Groom

This is a little test to see if you're paying attention, see if you can find Ariel and Bow in amongst the trees:

We were joined by Ariel and Bow's bridesmaids and groomsmen for some wedding party pictures

Let's take a closer look at the beautiful bouquets by blueGuava - loving the soft pink color palette:

We then made our way to Wychmere where the wedding ceremony would take place. Now would be a good time to acknowledge the incredible Eliza Cowan of WedBoston. I've worked with many wedding planners and Eliza is one of the very very very best. She was so calm, organized and should you be looking for a wedding planner you would be making a very smart decision to contact her (although she'll probably be fully booked as she's super in demand!)

The wedding ceremony site overlooked the ocean on the Hydrangea Lawn:

There were a couple of surprise bunny rabbit wedding guests:

Time to get married!

Thanks to talented Earl who joined me and Audrey for the wedding, he photographed the ceremony from the balcony of the Ocean Room and the above picture is his. You'll also see a few of his pictures in the rest of this blog post.

Relaxed pictures with Bow's family:

As if dress #1 wasn't perfect enough, Ariel then changed into stunning dress #2, another amazing Vera Wang creation:

Cocktail hour took place on the Ocean Room Balcony and guests enjoyed all sorts of hors d'oeuvres paired with Dom Perignon:

The Ocean Room looked beautiful with the last of the afternoon sun streaming in through the wrap-around windows:

If you find yourself on Newbury Street and you're in the mood for something sweet then make sure you stop by Teuscher Chocolate and enjoy some fabulous Swiss chocolate

Ariel and Bow made their grand entrance from the balcony before dancing a wonderfully choreographed first dance. I should also mention I got to work alongside the always awesome Jim of Boston Wedding Films - always a pleasure!

As everyone found their seats and sat down, Bow snuck in a little kiss on Ariel's shoulder. Love this!

Ariel's father welcomed everyone and gave a marvelous speech about Ariel and Bow, funny and touching toasts by the Maid of Honor and Best Man followed with lots of giggles and even a few tears.

Ariel got a little emotional dancing with her father…

…so Bow was waiting with a big hug afterwards and then the dance floor was fully opened with Soho doing an brilliant job as the wedding band!

Bow is an alum of Berklee College of Music and he wanted to sing a special song to Ariel. He sang John Legend's "All of Me" and was phenomenal! All of the wait staff stopped to listen and the band joked that Bow could perform with them anytime.

Lots of congratulatory toasts to the newlyweds

A little cake cutting

And more dancing!

Ariel & Bow - what a perfect day! It was such a pleasure documenting your wedding and I hope you like this selection of pictures! I'm uploading tons more as I post this! Wishing you a long life of health, happiness, love and laughter together!
