Happy Thanksgiving! Here come the Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday sale…..!

Happy Thanksgiving y'all. I'm a little sad as this was the first year we weren't able to join our "almost-family" friends due to crappy power outages (yay for generators!) and then even crappier water pump failures (yay for plumbers who visit on Thanksgiving!). Dinner wasn't the usual amazing 38lb turkey fest with 30+ people (yay for finding a small filet roast in the freezer!) but hey, we're all alive and well and there's champagne in the fridge so life is good! Dinner for two can still be cozy :)

So tomorrow is Black Friday. You can get up at horrible o'clock and stand in line for stuff your friends and family don't really want OR you can stay in your PJs, get a piece of pie for breakfast and do ALL of your shopping in less than an hour. Yes - buy beautiful professional prints in minutes and you're all set for your holiday gifts! Well, I guess you could pop along to Pottery Barn and pick up some frames if you're feeling like you want to go the extra mile!

Some gift suggestions:
A beautiful 8x10 print perfect for framing for your desk or for the desk of someone special
A 20x24 large print or gallery-wrap canvas to show off a favorite image over your mantel or above your sofa
A digital download so you can put a favorite picture on a mug, calendar or keyring
A smaller 11x14 print for more compact living areas
A 16x20 wall print for your parents featuring a favorite family picture
A smaller 4x6 or 5x7 print for a grandparent

Here's the good part…..
FOR ONE DAY ONLY (11.28.14 ending at midnight EST) get 50% off all print, digital download and canvas orders AND free ground shipping with code BIGHOLIDAY2014

For three more days Saturday 11.29.14 - Monday 12.1.14 ending at midnight EST) get 50% off all print, digital download and canvas orders with code HOLIDAY2014
You snooze...you lose on free shipping :)

Both codes are case sensitive so remember to use all caps.

This is my once-annual print sale, it won't be repeated until next year.

And….for the first time ever…you can also give the gift of pretty awesome memories through photography to your friends and family. Follow this *link* to purchase a gift certificate for prints, engagement photography, proposal photography or family photography at 25% off. So if you buy a $200 print gift certificate it will cost you just $150 and you'll be able to immediately print out a nifty gift certificate. If you buy a gift certificate for an engagement, proposal or family photo session you'll pay just $750 (vs. the usual price of $1000) AND you receive the high-resolution jpeg files from the shoot.  Email me leah@leahhaydock.com with any questions at all! And please don't try to use the discount codes in this pre-discounted gallery - your order will be rejected ;)

Remember lovely blog readers and wedding clients - pictures belong on walls and in frames - not on discs or flash drives or computers! Here are pictures of pictures I've taken on walls and in frames :) Don't let your wedding pictures languish in electronic limbo!

You might be wondering, "Hmmm, I have my disc of images from our wedding, I'm just going to print them at the drug store, why bother getting professional prints?" and if so here are the answers:
1. Professional prints ordered through your gallery are printed on archival acid-free photographic paper on carefully calibrated printers for truer colors and less chance of fading. Here's the blurb - [Kodak Professional Supra Endura VC Digital Paper is the most popular paper used by professional photographers. This paper boasts accurate color, realistic saturation, excellent neutral flesh reproduction, and great intensity and offers brighter blues, cyans, purples, and reds. Standard Archival Value of 100 years in home display; 200 years in dark storage.]
2. If you haven't made prints at the drug store yet, you're probably not going to do it anytime soon :)
3. Prints ordered in sizes 11x14 or larger will be subtly and perfectly retouched, sized and sharpened to look even more amazing close up on your wall!

Hope you're all in a happy turkey coma! Leah :)
