Wedding Photographer at Wentworth-by-the-Sea Country Club :: Holly + Loren

Hello! Hello! Hello! It's almost Thanksgiving - how did that happen? Stay tuned for announcement of the most amazing print sale ever on Black Friday…

Anyhoo, today I have Holly & Loren's classic oceanside wedding for you at Wentworth-by-the-Sea Country Club for your viewing pleasure. In love with the letterpress wedding stationery from the always amazing Gus &a`mp; Ruby Letterpress in Portsmouth, NH

Holly's "something borrowed" were these beautiful family heirloom pearl and emerald shell earring from her grandmother:

Holly wanted to be comfortable and enjoy the dancing so she picked out these adorable little blue Tory Burch flats:

All of the flowers for the wedding came from one of my favorites florists - Betsy at Flower Kiosk

Meanwhile Audrey was hanging with Loren and the guys:

Loren had been doing his research on being a good husband ;)

Back with the girls, the "Making Faces" team were working hair and make up magic:

Time for Holly to get buttoned into her beautiful Jenny Yoo gown by her mother Barbara and Michele:

Love this picture of Holly ducking down so her MOH Michele could help her with the earrings:

Loren and the guys stopped in at Salt for a pre-wedding beverage:

The girls also had a little toast to Holly & Loren:

The weather forecast was all over the place but we were fairly hopeful about the outdoor ceremony happening. Luckily we were at the Wentworth by the Sea hotel which has a number of large covered porches. I love this picture of Holly and sister Annie making their way to the first look covered by the hotel bathrobes :)

I think it's fairly safe to say that Holly and Loren were pretty excited to see one another:

We were joined by the wedding party and they stayed nice and dry under the covering of the porch. Good job my cameras are water resistant.

This is Audrey's shot:

How beautiful are these bouquets by Flower Kiosk?

Holly and her bridesmaids:

Loren and his groomsmen, loving the blue pants/grey jacket colors

We headed over to another porch - this time with a boat! - for some relaxed family pictures. If you're having an outdoor wedding ceremony there's a good chance you'll look slightly disheveled afterwards with the wind and sun. Taking all of the formal pictures before the ceremony means everyone looks perfect!

We then made our way over to the Wentworth-by-the-Sea Country Club for the wedding. Pretty awesome view from the ceremony site:

Loren waited for Holly to walk down the aisle on the arm of her proud father Bill:

The rain passed, the clouds parted and the sun came out for the short but sweet wedding ceremony:

Loren made everyone laugh as he went in for an early kiss :)

Married!!!

Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres:

Guests figured out their table locations by picking up a custom buoy from the lobster trap:

Tables (and the bar) were marked with hand painted stones:

The inside of the Sperry tent looked beautiful with the chevron runners and tiny vases of green and white flowers:

The newlyweds entered the tent to huge roars and went straight into their first dance:

Toasts were next:

We took a golf cart out for 2 minutes of pictures as Holly and Loren didn't want to miss a single second of partying. This is Audrey's shot as we walked over the bridge:

I think it was worth it to see this sunset!

Once we got back it was dark and the twinkle lights in the tent looked so pretty. Holly and Loren cut their basket weave cake decorated with fresh blueberries:  Holly danced with Bill and Loren danced with his mother Susan:

The noise from the conch shell signified the official opening of the dance floor!

Holly and Loren's friends and family definitely know how to dance:

Guests were all invited to the after-party at Agave in Portsmouth, NH with a custom margarita bar!

Holly & Loren made their grand exit:

Holly & Loren - how much fun was that? Audrey and I had a blast! From our initial drinks at Ceia to oysters and wine at Brine to your fabulous wedding day - it's been a joy getting to know you both! I hope you enjoy these favorites! Lot's more to come!!!

Coming up tomorrow is Beth & Jeremy's fabulous Fairmont Copley wedding and the announcement of my once-a-year print sale on Black Friday!
