Wedding Photographer :: Casco, ME :: Caitlin + Peter (Part IIb)

As I mentioned in yesterday's post Caitlin & Peter mentioned they were having a Maineymoon so we decided to do a mini day-after shoot. Some would refer to this as a "trash the dress" kind of shoot but there was definitely no dress trashing ;)

Paul and I have a house in Casco, ME (incidentally Migis Lodge, a BEAUTIFUL Maine wedding venue on a lake is maybe 5 minutes from our new home - if you know anyone getting married there who needs a wedding photographer....) and so two days into their honeymoon Caitlin and Peter came over for the last hour of golden light. They arrived with a bottle of Veuve Cliquot which we popped open of course. I was a happy girl.

So here we are:

I know what you're thinking. You're thinking "Wow, did Mr H make that beautiful boat for Leah?" He didn't although he does a very nice job of rowing me around the lake whilst I read a magazine and drink wine. Our boat was actually made by the amazing Pete Peterson and if you'd like one for yourself you can find more info **here**

I imagine it would a nice feeling to dunk your feet in the lake on your wedding day but often time doesn't allow - hence a day-after shoot :)

And one last picture just before it got too dark....

Caitlin & Peter - what can I say? From the first meeting to discuss your wedding with your crazy acrobat cats to the beautiful winter pictures, your fabulous wedding and then interrupting your Maine honeymoon for more pictures - it's been an absolute honor and pleasure. I hope you find some pictures you might like for the new walls in your new home together :) Thank you for choosing me as your wedding photographer.
