Black Friday:: Small Business Saturday :: Cyber Monday :: PRINT SALE!!!!

The Leah Haydock Photography office is closed over the Thanksgiving weekend so I can eat lots of turkey but I had a quick check of email to see if there were any urgent ones and I noticed a couple of inquiries about Black Friday sales. What a good idea! In order to help you decorate your desks and walls and the desks and walls of those you love I'm announcing the first ever print sale! Every gallery has been reopened (if you can't remember the link to your gallery just email me and I'll shoot it over)!!!

Here's the important information:
  • Print sale ends in 1 week on Sunday 4th November at midnight
  • Prints will arrive in time for the holidays (5-7 days with ground shipping or you can choose faster overnight options)
  • It's not just prints! Did you know you can get customized postage stamps with a favorite picture? Perfect for your holiday cards or thank you notes.
  • There are also spectacular fine art wall options - metal prints, acrylic prints, canvas gallery wraps (click on "buy" and then "showcase"). Email me for more information or help picking out a favorite image to blow up.
And the pricing information (these are seriously insane prices, I've hastily rustled up this sale price list and Mr H is having a heart attack at what this is doing to my profit line!):
  • Small desk prints 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, 8x12 all all just $6
  • Wall prints 11x14 $14, 16x20 $24, 16x24 $28, 20x24 $32
  • Canvas gallery wraps start at just $70 and acrylic/metal prints just $120.
  • Postage stamps start at $22
  • There are even 4x8 holiday prints starting at $1
Of course you can make your own prints from your discs so why bother printing through me?
Professional prints are made on professional calibrated printers on archival professional print paper (see below for more information) AND remember that any print larger than an 8x12 (i.e. 11x14 and above) will be perfectly retouched, sized and sharpened for your order so it looks amazing on your wall!

For the technically minded here's the information about the papers used for your prints:

E-Surface Color Paper
Kodak Professional Supra Endura VC Digital Paper is the most popular paper used by professional photographers. This paper boasts accurate color, realistic saturation, excellent neutral flesh reproduction, and great intensity and offers brighter blues, cyans, purples, and reds. Standard Archival Value of 100 years in home display; 200 years in dark storage.

Metallic Paper (pearlescent finish)
Kodak Endura Metallic Paper features a unique pearlescent surface with ultra-bright backgrounds. This paper uses a patented combination of film and laminate layers resulting in striking three-dimensional images. It offers sharp details, and beautifully-saturated colors. Resistant to tearing and curling without any additional lamination. Standard Archival Value of 100 years in home display; 200 years in dark storage.
Leah's comment: I LOVE metallic paper for large prints, I don't recommend it for close up shots (i.e. a picture mostly of your faces as it makes the skin look a little shiny) but it's AMAZING for a large panoramic print or a night time picture.

True B&W Paper (matte finish)
Ilford True B&W paper is designed to make rich black, continuous-tone prints, while avoiding color tints. Panchromatic, resin-coated paper provides excellent tone reproduction. This paper uses a silver-based emulsion rather than dye-based, offering the same imaging performance and characteristics as traditional B&W continuous-tone prints. Specially coated on the back, it accepts ink for crop lines or writing notes. Display and 100-year archival quality.

Remember - this sale is over 1 week from today! And for my (two) couples patiently awaiting their full wedding galleries and (three) couples looking out for their engagement galleries - not to worry! I will send you a special code to enable you to get these prices too! Just a week or so to go now :)

Why not order 8x10 prints for all your friends and family? Christmas shopping - check! Have you moved house and have blank walls? A 20x24 print or metal print would look spectacular! Are your images sitting on the disc years after your wedding? Print your favorite 4x6 and 5x7 images!

And as every post is better with a picture, here's a metal wall art print I did for Neeta and Rich of one of their engagement pictures. You can see how it comes ready to hang. The colors just pop!
