Chatham Bars Wedding Photographs :: Meredith + Melanie (Part III)

Aaaaaaaaand I'm back! It's time for Meredith & Melanie's beautiful wedding reception at Chatham Bars Inn on Cape Cod, MA.

Every last detail for the wedding reception in the Beach House Grill was perfect thanks to the Hopple Popple wedding planning team. The room looked BEAUTIFUL!

The newlyweds entered for their first dance with guest appearance from Tyler:

I'd show you all of the crazy hora pictures (Hava Nagila had to be played TWICE over there were so many people involved!) but they would take up the whole of the blog post ;) so I'll just share this one taken by the fabulous Audrey from the back of the room:

Meredith's father Max (my new most favorite father of the bride ever :) welcomed everyone and gave the most beautiful speech about how happy he was that Meredith and Melanie found each other:

Lots more happy toasts:

Guests then enjoyed the most delicious food and good conversation:

Meredith and Melanie preferred to dance together vs. eat. I was super impressed with Melanie's skills in holding her lemon drop martini so that it didn't spill on Meredith's dress :)

Parent dances were next:

As you can imagine, I photograph a LOT of weddings. And as you would expect, friends and family of the couple are always VERY happy for them. This was taken to the nth degree at Meredith & Melanie's wedding. I have never seen so many beaming smiles, hugs galore and friends and family simply ecstatic for this wonderful family :) I formally present to you the official "Wedding with the most Hugs" of 2012:

Meredith and Melanie had heartfelt words for each other:

Cupcakes, cake pops, milk and cookies galore:

The dancefloor was well and truly rocking:

One last picture from the end of the evening:

Meredith & Melanie - thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm so happy you chose me as your wedding photographer, it was a delight getting to know you both and your fabulous boys and families and I'm so happy I got to document your wedding day. I would like to formally apply for the as-yet unadvertised position of official photographer for the whole B family (am happy to travel to NY during the week in the summer!) Wishing you a lifetime of health, happiness, love and laughter (and dancing in the rain) :)

Regular blog readers will know that after 5 years of photographing weddings I can count the number of videographers I happily recommend on one hand. Jim of Boston Wedding Films is one of those rare videographers and he kindly gave me permission to post his video here. Love!
