Denise + Krikor :: Married at the Hyatt, Boston (Part III)

If you're just joining us for the first time, you might want to check out part I (ceremony) or part II (fun with the wedding party) of Denise & Krikor's wedding blog.

We're now back at the Hyatt, Boston for the reception:

Before heading up the grand staircase to greet their guests for cocktail hour, the newlyweds had a little moment alone.

The talented Derrick Morin of Morin photography was second shooting for me and captured the next two detail shots whilst I was with the bride and groom, love this shot of the ballroom just waiting for the guests to stream in through the mirrored French doors...

The wedding cake was a work of art from Konditor Meister

Krikor's family had a stunning jewelry collection as a gift for their new daughter in law:

Ashod is Krikor's brother and was his best man. He spoke about the time that Krikor brought Denise to their family home in Lebanon and how he knew they were just right for one another.

The toasts from the Matron and Maid of Honor, Alison and Cheryle, were amongst the most eloquent and heartfelt I have ever heard. They have both known Denise since childhood and spoke with so much love about how happy they were for her and Krikor.

Denise's dad talked about how much he loves his daughter and how is so pleased to welcome Krikor and his family into his.

Cake cutting with sparklers and a sword - does it get any better?

The feeding of each other with the cake was gentle and Krikor only had a tiny bit of frosting on his nose

Love this picture of Denise laughing and dancing hand-in-hand with her Mom and new Mother-in-law

Lots of traditional Lebanese dancing, with foot stamping, arms in the air, so much fun! And throughout it all Krikor kept Denise's hand in his.

My time stamp on the next picture was 11:48pm, the fabulous day was coming to a close and Denise & Krikor are still smiling and dancing together

Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Krumlian. I googled some traditional Lebanese toasts and well wishes and found one that I thought was just beautiful...
May you grow old together on one pillow
