The sun was streaming into their Charlestown home when I arrived and Becky and Duke were in that awesome state of "Wow, we have a baby." and fighting over who gets to hold him!
When photographing teeny tiny babies, it's good to try to catch them in the first two weeks before any possible baby acne shows up. At exactly two weeks August was just the perfect little man. You can't help but be fascinated by his little hands and feet and nose and ears:

There were some issues in getting these pictures. Duke was very reluctant to let Becky have a turn with the baby. He explained that he would be going back to work soon whilst Becky had more time at home and so Becky could wait... :)
August slept the whole time I was there but for a couple of seconds he opened his eyes. I don't think he was super impressed with the noise of the camera shutter so he swiftly closed them.

And then August decided his professional modeling days were over and he'd had enough. Becky got to hold August while Duke showed me the best way back to the highway but I'm guessing August ended up back in his arms as soon as he went inside...
Congratulations to Becky & Duke! August is a lucky little baby to have you two as parents. It was so lovely to see you both again!
