Wentworth-by-the-sea Wedding Photographer, New Castle, NH :: Ashlee + Eric (Part I)

Today is a most excellent day. Not only is it my BIRTHDAY but it's also the day I kick off the 2015 wedding season on the blog! And I'm starting with a rather spectacular one - Ashlee & Eric's Wentworth-by-the-sea wedding extravaganza!

Let's begin with some details to set the scene for this Wentworth-by-the-sea wedding:

Soiree in Andover, MA designed the most beautiful wedding stationery suite:

Ashlee had not one but two pairs of cream Kate Spade shoes - heels and then the most adorable little flats for dancing - smart move!

Just a little hint of the gorgeousness that was Ashlee's wedding dress from Madeleine's Daughter in Portsmouth, NH. FEATHERS!!!!!

Audrey photographed Eric enjoying a custom beverage and getting ready to see Ashlee:

Ashlee was in the most talented hands for hair with Lena from Hair That Moves and for make up with Joanne of Joya Beauty. Also a big shout out to Christina and Beth of CMD Event Design:  Ashlee was helped into her dress by cousin and MOH Alison (who was one of my 2010 brides, it was lovely to see so many familiar faces at the wedding!), love Diane's expression seeing her daughter as a bride:

Seriously? Who looks like this in real life??!?! And did I mention the feathers?!?!?

Ashlee and Eric really wanted to enjoy cocktail hour and their reception and spend as much time with friends and family as possible so they chose to do a first look and take all of the formal pictures before the ceremony. Loved their reactions and emotions:

Ashlee and Eric not only look pretty fabulous together, they are also one of the most relaxed and happy couples I have ever had the pleasure of working with, it was a joy to watch them all day!

We were joined by the bridesmaids and groomsmen for wedding party pictures out on the porch (beautiful flowers by Jardiniere):

The first weekend of May was still a little chilly so we used the shelter of one of the large covered porches for family pictures. Ashlee & Eric's families were also incredibly lovely to work with:

And forgive me for leaving you on a cliffhanger but if you want to see the most personal and moving wedding ceremony along with tons o' fun and dancing at the reception you'll have to come back tomorrow. I'm cutting out as I want to go drink some champagne (did I mention it's my birthday?!?) but I'll back back with part II tomorrow!

Oh go on then, one more of the almost-newlyweds:
