Henderson House Wedding :: Weston, MA :: Caitlin + Peter (Part II)

Good evening. No rest for the wicked hence I am working about 18 hours a day at the moment to catch up; it's all good as there's so much I want to share with you!

Caitlin and Peter had a beautiful wedding at Henderson House in Weston, MA and I shared the getting ready/first look photographs here and the ceremony/cocktail hour here. Before the party started we snuck outside for a few pictures before the sun went down (can I just mention how awesome it was that Caitlin & Peter found so much little 5 minute blocks of time for bonus pictures?!)

The new Mr & Mrs Bowring were announced for their first dance as husband and wife:

The dancefloor was officially declared open and Peter was determined to dance with every man, woman and child her could find ;)

I swear on the lives of my two little doggies that I didn't set this shot up or pose the shoes - but of course I photographed it:

Caitlin danced with her dad and Peter danced with his mom:

Anniversary dances. I love them. Seriously. Way better to give your bouquet to the couple that have made it through 30, 40, 50 years of marriage than hurl it at the single ladies ;)

This was Caitlin and Peter pretty much all night. Love it.

Cupcake towers = good. Ice cream sundae bars = better.

Good night Bowstracane :)

But wait! It doesn't have to be over....as I said my goodbyes I asked Caitlin and Peter where they'd be going on their honeymoon, they explained they were having a "Maineymoon" and I was all "Whoah! I'll be in Maine next week. You should totally pack your wedding clothes and let me know if you want to do a day-after shoot on the lake". Maybe they did. Maybe they didn't. Want to see pictures? Say hello in the comments and I'll share...(facebook comments are lovely but they don't count....)

Henderson House Wedding :: Weston, MA :: Caitlin + Peter (Part Ib)

Is this the fastest pause between blog posts you've ever seen? Hopefully you had time to catch your breath! After the getting ready and first look it was time for the beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony at Henderson House in Weston, MA.

It was like a gazillion degrees outside and such a lovely ceremony. There was a moment of concern when Caitlin struggled to get Peter's wedding ring on his fingers (swollen from all the renovation work he's doing on their new home) but she did it!

And by the power vested in me by the state of my blog, I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride:

With all of the "formal" pictures taken there was tons of time for guest pictures. I think it's really nice if I have time to do this, looking back on our own wedding reception I love all of the guest pictures (and no, table pictures with dirty plates and full mouths are not a good idea):

Who can resist a glass of champagne, signature cocktail and a little hors d'oeuvre:

Cupcake tower awesomeness:

The brilliant Sarah Dugan who came along to shoot with me caught this wonderful image of Dan's notes for his toast:

Henderson House is such a wonderful historic wedding venue just outside of Boston, the grand staircase makes a great setting for toasts:

Quick group picture of 120 people? Sure!

Tomorrow - it's party time with the wedding reception. If you want to see sneak peaks ahead of time you can hop on over to the official Leah Haydock Photography page on facebook....

Henderson House Wedding :: Weston, MA :: Caitlin + Peter

Brangelina. Bennifer. Robsten. TomKat. Couple names. All the cool people have them. So today I give you the wedding of Bowstracane which is what you get when a Castracane marries a Bowring ;)

The wedding took place at Henderson House in Weston, MA and it's SUCH a beautiful wedding venue. The historic house has so many great locations for wedding photography, the grand staircase, marble fireplaces, open rooms and lovely gardens. The Henderson House team are also super helpful and friendly!

I think it's safe to say that Peter is kind of fanatic about cycling, at one point I heard his bicycle would be present at the wedding, and so the wedding stationery was personalized with the cute little couple on a bicycle:

Caitlin's beautiful purple Badgley Mischka shoes took a little spin on the dancefloor:

Henderson House has a great set up for weddings, up the grand staircase the building is kind of split in two so the each half of the couple can get ready without the other seeing them. I went over to the guys side. Dan Paul and Adam were just chillin' as Peter got ready for the first look with Caitlin:

Jennifer, Robyn and Jaime helped Caitlin into her gown and with her jewelry:

Then it was time for the first look (a beautiful and private time for the couple to see each other prior to the ceremony - I have a blog post coming up on this - in fact, if you did a first look AND I was your wedding photographer, feel free to hop on over to my survey to give your first look feedback!) - so many cute little moments and Peter pulled out all the stops with a beautiful necklace for Caitlin:

How adorable are Caitlin and Peter together?

Your wedding day will fly by in a flash so it can be really nice and relaxing to have extra time together to just "be" together (plus you get TONS of extra lovely images if you give me more time...)

Hilarious wedding party. Like I was really laughing too for most of these pictures:

Relaxed family pictures:

More time for pictures = More pictures. Like these:

I was planning on making this a 2-part blog post but it looks like we're going for 2.5 because there are too many pictures I want to share with you. The best part is that part 1.5 is ready now!!! So say hello/leave a comment below and I'll put it up very soon! More comments = Faster blogging from Leah :)
