Tower Hill Botanic Gardens :: Boylston, MA :: Wedding Photographer :: Prameela + Geoff (Part III)

My mostly daily blogging pattern went out the window last week which was a blur of amazing weddings, super fun client meetings, fantastic engagement shoots and of course lots of new weddings booked for 2011.

But I'll be making up for my absence going forward as the blog is going to be chock-full of delicious pictures over the next few weeks and I'll start right now with the final post of Prameela & Geoff's wedding photographs of the reception in the Orangerie at Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston, MA. If you missed the ceremony in the secret garden you can find it **here**

Tower Hill is a beautiful and unusual weddding venue in the greater Boston area, with lush grounds and gardens, a fabulous patio for cocktails and of course the Orangerie for your wedding reception. The stunning bouquets, ceremony flowers and the centerpieces shown below were by Bloomers Florist of Worcester, MA:

The newlyweds are announced to their guests, I love the look between Prameela and her son Bharat:

Excellent toasts! First up was Geoff's brother and best man and then the two Deb's:

Music for the evening was provided by Java Jive. I first heard Java Jive play at Linda & Tom's winter wedding at Willowdale Estate. Geoff mentioned he had been looking for a band for the wedding reception, I mentioned Java Jive and so I was pleased to see Chuck, Don and Tim (left to right) at the wedding. They're a crazy bunch. During Geoff's brother's toast, he talked about Geoff having an inner super hero. Java Jive then played superhero theme tunes for part of dinner ;)

After dinner, Prameela changed into a rich red and gold sari and the Orangerie at night made a great backdrop:

Time for cake, first a birthday cake and then it was the turn of Prameela and Geoff:

Geoff with all the guys of his family:

And I'll end with these dancing pictures, the time stamp tells me it was 10:26pm and I love that Geoff and Prameela were having so much fun and dancing right to the end:

Congratulations to you both! Your full gallery will follow in a couple of weeks and I hope you've enjoyed the preview wedding photographs!

Hyatt Regency Hotel, Cambridge, MA :: Boston Wedding Photographer :: Neeta + Rich (Part II)

Welcome back to Neeta & Rich's first look pictures in the Empress Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge, MA.

The whole concept of the first look is that you get to have a private little moment with your significant other before they become your spouse. Hair and make up is fresh, you don't have to wait until 6pm at night to see each other on a day that is all about the two of you, you have more time with your wedding party and family AND you get to enjoy cocktail hour, what's not to love?

And this was SUCH a great first look! We set Rich in position, looking out over the city, this is actually his reflection in the wall:

Neeta entered and carefully stepped down the stairs towards her almost-husband:

Rich waited patiently:

And then they saw each other and Rich was a combination of speechless and flabergasted alternating between saying "Oh my God, Oh my Gosh, You are SO freakin' beautiful" and just LOOKING at Neeta:

Rich spun Neeta around so he could see her properly and her gown swirled out as she moved. And just wait until you see the first dance pictures.....

On a scale of one to ten how happy do you think Rich was?

Hello shoes:

It only seemed appropriate to have at least one dipping picture. I like to think of myself as a full-service photographer and to that end I posted how to achieve the perfect dip **here**, I think Neeta and Rich DID practise:

We had a teeny tiny block of time in the schedule before we had to meet up with everyone for wedding party and family pictures so we pootled around the hotel, I kind of like the random waiter in the background:

I call this image "Love In An Elevator"

And I don't have a name for this picture but I really really like it:

Gate of Heaven, Boston :: Wedding Ceremony Pictures :: Danielle + Kevin (Part III)

I'm sure it comes as no surprise to you when I say that I couldn't squeeze all of the pictures into a three part post and so I'll be back tomorrow with the wedding reception photographs at the Exchange Conference Center in Boston

For your viewing pleasure today we are at the Gate of Heaven Church in South Boston where Reverend Robert E. Casey conducted the beautiful wedding ceremony between Danielle & Kevin.

Maid of Honor, Steph and Flower Girl, Kaitlyn walked down the very long aisle:

Danielle and her father stood in the heavy wooden doorway and Kevin beamed:

Here comes the bride:

Seriously, how beautiful is the Gate of Heaven church? The cornerstone of the parish was laid in 1862 and the church was dedicated in 1863. It was requested that only one photographer is present during the ceremony so Julia went ahead to the reception whilst I headed up into the balcony for this image:

By the power vested in me by the state of my blog, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride:

Loving the contrast that the heavy doors of the Gate of Heaven provide:

After some quick relaxed family portraits we headed to the waterfront area of Boston for maybe 3 minutes of wedding pictures! Having taken pictures before the ceremony and with limited family groups on the formal shot list, Danielle & Kevin were ready to enjoy cocktail hour and celebrate with their friends and family:

More tomorrow at the wedding reception - how great is the patio overlooking the waterfront of Boston Harbor at the Exchange Conference Center?

Happy Wednesday!
