So you think you can dance? My 2009 wedding clients certainly can!

I'm driving along in my car this morning and "I gotta feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas comes on the radio. Each year it feels like there's THE song that plays at weddings and in 2009 this was totally it. I think this song was played at every single wedding I photographed this year - from DJs to bands as soon as the first line "I gotta feeling...that tonight's gonna be a good night" - the dance floor would be full with all hands in the air!

It got me thinking about how 2009 was such a blast thanks to the AMAZING couples that trusted me to document their wedding days. I photographed some brilliant ceremonies and receptions at Willowdale Estate, Maudslay State Park, Green Meadows Farm, Rockport Art Association, Belle Mer, Andover Country Club, Zorvino Vineyards and the Hyatt Boston to name just a few.

And I had a huge amount of fun doing engagement photos in Beacon Hill, on Boston Common, at the Boston Public Library, at the Beach, at Boston Waterfront and even in New York City.

Each wedding was a unique and beautiful event just like the couples that got married. I've been so lucky to have met and worked with such lovely clients and their families and friends. When a couple hires me to photograph their wedding I say "phooey" to scheduled hours and I'm there from getting ready to the last dance, and I thought I'd share with you some of those crazy dance moments here:

So HAPPY NEW YEAR! Wishing you love, health, happiness and fabulous photographs in 2010!
